Kunihira Kawachi
- 【Kawachi Kunihira, born October 1, 1941】A Japanese swordsmith, a modern master craftsman who holds an intangible cultural property of Nara Prefecture.
◆ Career
・He was born in 1941 in Osaka as the second son of the 14th oldest swordsmith Morikunisuke Kawachi.
In 1966, after graduating from the Faculty of Law at Kansai University, he moved to Akihira Miyairi (later Gyohei) and studied Soshuden to become an independent swordsmith in the plains of Higashiyoshino village in 1972.
